The VKP-IKA cable identifier is suitable for identifying uncharged earth cables. The device kit consists of two instruments, a rechargeable battery powered pulse transmitter and a battery powered pulse receiver. Connecting the transmitter unit to the end point of the uncharged cable, the cable to be found can be identified by the receiver on any point (in cable chamber or cable conduit) of the cable route. The radio communication between the transmitter and the receiver allows the range 100-2000 meters, debending from the radio signals.
